"Rincon Criollo has diners lining up in Gordon Square for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine"

- Gus Chan, The Plain Dealer

"Before Gordon Square was "Gordon Square" there was still life in this corner of the city. Long before the Capitol Theater opened to anchor the bustling entertainment district in 2009, Puerto Rican cafe Rincon Criollo was attracting diners from across town to West 65th and Detroit. Purchased by the current owners, the Ruiz family, in 2008, the family-owned, family-oriented restaurant remains one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood. Quite possibly, the busiest."
